Before I get to that, I want to talk about the taste, What does it taste like? I've never tasted jerky like this before, it's sweet and peppery with hints of spicy and tangy, all at the same time. It's not surprising when you look at the ingredients, no preservatives (besides salt), no nitrates and no added MSG. No artificial ingredients, some are organic as well. Very good taste overall. 8 out of 10.Onto the packaging, this bag contains 2 servings however this bag doesn't reseal like other jerky bags.
That means you have to either eat it all or have a Ziploc baggie on hand. It looks really cool, has cool colors, but no resealing? Serious oversight in my book. -1 point.
Now, onto the "almost killing me" thing. I also rate edibility and this rates fairly low to begin with, even for jerky it's super stringy and way two chewy. In addition to this I do have braces and it DID get caught on them so even though I choked on a piece I figure it's not entirely the jerky's fault and I'll only deduct two points (if I didn't have braces I'd cut it in halve instead). -2 points.
So, in conclusion, it tastes good, you have to eat it in one shot & it almost killed me. I'll still recommend it but eat it in small bites. Plus I'll give it a extra .5 points for the awesome ingredients. Overall 5.5 out of 10.
